Returns & exchanges

You may return or exchange an item within 7 days of receiving it, at any Good Guys branch or by courier. Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in their original condition with all tags attached, together with the bill or order number.

• Wrong size or fit — exchange for another size free of charge, subject to availability.
• Different item — exchange for anything of equal or higher value; you pay only the difference.
• Damaged, defective or incorrect item delivered — we will replace it and bear the courier charges both ways, or refund you in full.

Non-returnable items

• Items returned without the bill or with tags removed.
• Innerwear, socks and jewellery, for hygiene reasons.
• Items bought on clearance or final sale, unless damaged or defective on delivery.

Refunds

All refunds are issued to the same payment method used to make the original payment (the payment-initiated medium).

• Card payments via PayHere — refunded only to the same card used for the purchase. We initiate the refund within 5–7 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item; depending on your bank, it may take one or two further statement cycles to appear on your card.
• Cash on delivery — refunded in cash at any Good Guys branch, or by bank transfer to an account in your name, within 5–7 working days of receiving the returned item.

Delivery charges are refunded only when the return is due to our error (damaged, defective or incorrect item).

Order cancellations

You may cancel an order any time before it is dispatched by calling 076 830 2434. Cancelled card payments are refunded in full to the same card through PayHere.

Return shipping

Returns are free at any of our branches in Vavuniya, Cheddikulam, Trincomalee and Mannar. For courier returns, the customer bears the return shipping cost unless the return is due to our error, in which case we arrange and pay for the pickup.
